Biography

Kushatha Moswela the Managing Director of Old Mutual Short Term Insurance Botswana. Previously she was the COO of Old Mutual Botswana, Executive Assistant to then Old Mutual South Africa CEO and worked in various actuarial disciplines within Old Mutual and KPMG.

She is an actuarial professional who holds an MSc in Actuarial Science and BSc (Hons) Actuarial Science both from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the UK.

In July 2022, she received the award of being one of the Top 50 leading insurance women in Africa.

She set up the Old Mutual Botswana Life office in 2015 which started its operations in 2016. In July 2016 she took on the position of Managing Director for OMSTIB. A company that has now grown significantly in market share and is achieving high underwriting margins.

OMSTIB in 2021 awarded the highest local credit rating of AA- and was the runner up for customer service excellence award in Botswana.
